BIND AND BLIND

Preliminary Round:
A technical term will be split into several parts. Each part shall have an illustrative clue through which the term must be identified by linking all the clues similar to a Connection game.

Finals:
Participants will be given a program with errors. The challenge is to debug the program and type the code in the TEXT EDITOR with their MONITOR SWITCHED OFF.

Rules:
• Each team should have no more than 2 members.
• No Internet usage.

BREAK THE ENIGMA

Preliminary Round:
A paper pen test where problems must be solved in a particular order to find the “ENIGMA” (KEY) to the next round. The key will be easy to decrypt at first, but then it scales up its complexity as you solve more. Questions can be expected from basic computer science concepts and subjects.

Finals Description:
Teams who reach the final round will be given 5 URLs that Teams will be given URL’s that are encrypted. The Algorithm that has been used for encryption will be provided. The teams must decrypt the URL, which would lead to a programming question that is to be solved. The easiest URL to decrypt will have the toughest program and vice versa. (Internet Usage will be allowed)

CODE QUEST

Preliminary Round
Technical questions will be given in the form of a maze. Solving the questions creates the path for the maze.

Finals Description:
Teams should Solve the given problem by coding. Then they must OBFUSCATE their code. This code will be distributed among other teams. Teams that DE-OBFUSCATE the correct logic will be given points.

• Each team should strictly have no more than two members.
• No Internet access.

MYSTERIO

Preliminary Round:
Each team is provided with a set of questions. For each correct answer the team will be granted a Gem.

Finals Description:
One participant should solve a program to gain the key that unlocks the web designing task for the another participant, one after another. The other participant should design the web design.
Rules:
• Teams should strictly have 2 members only.
• Members can solve only their particular domain during the finals.

SCRAP YARD WARS

Preliminary Round:
A pen and paper MCQ Quiz on Computer components and PC building will be conducted .

Finals Description:
The Requirements of a Customer, his/her Budget and the Price list of all the components will be specified. The auction will be organized to purchase PC components. The challenge is to build the best Spec PC within the budget.

• Every team will have no more than 2 members.
